I found this incredible lodging that is roughly 3 hours from Albuquerque. It is a part man-made and part nature-made cave that has views for days: Kokopeli's Cave in Farmington, NM. Because of randomly discovering this one place, it turned what was going to be a weekend stay in the Albuquerque to a week long adventure all around the state. While you'll want to spend most of your time at the cave itself, the community has a lot to offer too--everything from ATV rides to unique dining, and really interesting indigenous events.
