Amnesia Nightclub Ruins

Amnesia was founded by André Boudou, who is the father-in-law of famed French singer, Johnny Halliday. Opening in 1995, it hosted famous guest stars and DJs, such as Carl Cox and Paul Johnson. The biggest club in France, Amnesia hosted up to 4,000 a night, drawing people in with its hot reputation and its unusual, futuristic architecture in direct contrast with the green, rolling hills of Corsica.

Now, all that’s left are the broken graffiti-laden walls and the rubble of the discotheque. The night club was closed after a mysterious bombing in 2000, for which a motive was never discovered. According to the global terrorism database, "the attack caused major damage to the building, but no one was injured. No one claimed responsibility for the attack."
