Big Blue Bear
Overlooking the Colorado Convention Center is this giant sculpture made from thousands of triangles.
Big Blue Bear adventurousbrewnette (Atlas Obscura User)
Walking through the convention center in downtown Denver is an event in itself, but in a large window facing 14th Street visitors will see a giant blue bear peeking into the event center.
Though giant blue animals seem to be a trend in Denver, this blue bear stands on its own. Made of about 4,000 tiny triangles, the 40-foot bear towers over passersby who can also peek into the convention center, giving meaning to the artwork’s formal name, “I See What You Mean.”
The blue color is said to represent the Colorado sky.
