Situated across the Hudson River from where the Twin Towers once stood, this New Jersey memorial is dedicated to the victims of the 9/11 attack. Artists Jessica Jamroz and Frederic Schwartz wanted to create a design that would subtly recall the original structures.
Each of the two stainless steel structures is 30 feet tall and 210 feet long. The memorial is particularly evocative at sunset, when the fading light wreathes each side in a halo.
