About

A 20-acre park with a rotating collection of over 75 contemporary sculptures, the Franconia Sculpture Park is free and open year-round to the public.

An innovative community arts organization, Franconia provides residence and work space to both emerging and established artists. Its mission is to foster an inspiring environment for artists to expand their skills and promote the public education of three-dimensional art.

Artists are constantly creating new work at the park from April through November. The parks keeps visitors coming back with several programs and events spaced throughout the year that include a concert series, artist-led tours, specific programs for at-risk youth and more. From the beginning, Franconia has been committed to arts education and has provided hands-on sculpture workshops so visitors can explore the creative process.

Founded in 1996 by a small group of artists together with educator John Hock, Franconia is governed by a Board of Directors that includes several well-known names in the sculpture community.
