About

"La Grande Fonte" by Robert Roussil (1974) was initially located above the Ville-Marie highway before being moved to Pointe du Moulin-à-vent during the construction of the ICAO in 1997.

The 15-meter-high sculpture aims to illustrate the aggressiveness of our era with its cast iron points and balances fullness and emptiness, the opposing forces on which civilizations evolve.

Know Before You Go

It's along an abandoned factory, just be careful to stay on public property to avoid security. The view you get of the St. Lawrence rocks. It's not really an official park so no seating or signage
