About
Tucked away in the highlands in the region of Mpumalanga, along South Africa’s legendary Panorama Route, Lisbon Falls plunge a dramatic 94 meters into a lush gorge. Named after the Portuguese capital, these are the tallest waterfalls in the region, and arguably among its most photogenic.
Whether you're peering over the edge from the viewpoint or standing at the base where the spray gives you a free shower, the falls offer a raw, cinematic beauty.
Know Before You Go
From the parking area there is a 100-meter footpath to the base of the falls. Lots of picnic spots nearby.
