About

Space nerds will delight at finding this hidden gem of a small exhibition. Located in the Harvey House in Barstow, California, alongside the railroad tracks, the Visitor Center is located on the second floor. It features models, audiovisual exhibits, and plenty to read. You can collect some free stickers and materials and even have yourself photographed behind a spacesuit standee.

The Visitor’s Center for the Goldstone Deep Space Network, which is currently leased by NASA from the Department of Defense, had to be located off-site, hence its presence in the Harvey House. There are also plenty of locomotive engines, rail cars, and cabooses to photograph outside as well.
