About
On the second floor of the small and quiet Provincetown Public Library, you'll find a beautifully detailed half-scale model of a famous fishing schooner named the Rose Dorthea. Bookshelves full of children's books sit along the side of the boat. It can be viewed up close or from the third floor mezzanine.
Know Before You Go
This is inside the public library, so be quiet & respectful. There is no fee or need to get a library card. The library workers are friendly and happy to share their knowledge about the schooner. They do not mind photographs being taken of the ship and other small exhibits on display. A walking tour about the history of the vessel can be found on the library website.
