About
The Waterford Walls international street art festival in Waterford, Ireland in the south of the country has been running since 2015. Since then hundreds of invited artists have been involved in bringing both colour and life to various walls within the city. It consists of 10 days of live art, music, workshops and lots more.
In 2024 it is scheduled for 9th-18th August and street artists are currently able to apply. Typically around 30 artists will be selected from around 900 that usually apply. This will be the 10th fantastic iteration of the project and after a period of uncertainty during Covid it is booming again.
The works are always fantastic both in terms of quality and scale and if anything seem to get better year by year.
