Renaissance fireplaces, nineteenth-century Gothic Revival brass door hinges, fierce cast-iron griffins – you’ll find them all at Westland London, one of the most extensive curated antique collections in the country.
Since 1969, the company has sought to acquire and resell 18th and 19th-century decorative pieces to collectors, architects, and specialists of all kinds. Of course, it stands to reason that if you’re going to collect something nice, you’ll want somewhere equally nice to keep it. “Nice” is a bit of an understatement when you consider that Westland is housed within the glorious church of St Michael and All Angels, designed by James Brooks in 1865.
Update June 2020: Westland London has moved to a new location at Willesden Green.
