Alicia Rovey

Joined Atlas Obscura in 2021

Hi! I'm Alicia Rovey, founder and President of the All Fifty Club. I've visited all 50 U.S. states and have had the privilege of congratulating more than 12,000 travelers who have achieved this milestone since founding the club in 2006. What fascinates me most is that no two 50-state journeys are alike. Through the All Fifty Club, I've met travelers pursuing presidential sites, historic landmarks, local foods, state parks, roadside attractions, and countless other adventures. Travel has been a family passion. My husband and our four children have also completed all 50 states, and together we've taken more than 25 cross-country trips. We love history, nature, and the quirky. While there is truly "Something Great in Every State," my favorite is my home state of Arizona. I am passionate about encouraging others to experience all 50 states and celebrating those who achieve this extraordinary accomplishment. Safe and happy travels! Alicia
