A less visited pond by the edge of the Middlesex Fells is open only to Medford residents (or people who find a lucky seat in the car of a resident). The natural pond has a roped off area for swimming, sandy beach, lifeguards and a nature walk around the perimeter of the pond. Tree lined, with benches and more. No boats.
