About

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is known to all and a dream of every actor to be immortalized forever. However, it's not the only place where celebrities get a star on the ground, a much smaller version of the walk can be found in Poland's City of Kings.

The Krakow Walk of Fame, or Aleja Gwiazd, as it is known in Polish has been a mainstay of the city since 2008, with the first person to obtain a star being Céline Dion. The walk was a joint venture between the city government and the radio station RMF FM, their goal is to honor outstanding musicians and bands from not only Poland but the world.

Among the stars, visitors will find many locals from Poland, but also more internationally known names such as Michael Jackson, Benedict Cumberbatch, and even Elvis Presley.
