About

The Bahrain World Trade Center is the first commercial development to have large-scale wind turbines as part of its structure. Reducing the need for fossil fuels, the turbines power between 11 and 15% of the building’s power.

The environmentally designed twin skyscrapers are each 240-meters tall and curved to funnel the strong Gulf winds into the turbines. By utilizing renewable and efficient energy, the BWTC reduces carbon emissions on the island state.
