About

Lilac Park is a restored roadside park that was built in the 1930s as part of the WPA projects being done in Minnesota. This park has one of two remaining limestone beehive fireplaces built for the roadside parks off Highway 100. The Beehive and the Limestone picnic tables were built by hand-cutting the limestone blocks.
