About
Hidden deep within the remote highlands of Vinh Thanh district, Ta Ma Stream offers an arresting departure from the sun-drenched beaches of the coast. Flowing with icy, crystal-clear water year-round, the stream carves its way through a primeval woodland guarded for generations by the indigenous Ba Na community of Ha Ri village.
Its most surreal transformation occurs around March, when an ancient forest of century-old wild ixora (hoa trang) trees bursts into brilliant canopies of fiery red and golden yellow, casting vivid reflections across the tumbling water.
Beyond this seasonal floral spectacle, the sanctuary invites travelers to trek along shaded riverbanks, swim in emerald pools, and experience authentic highland living through traditional brocade weaving and local feasts featuring upland rice and grilled forest specialties.
Unspoiled and fiercely protected by local heritage, this hidden stream remains a rare sanctuary where wild botany and indigenous culture intertwine.
