A little more than a 2o-minute drive from the charming port city of Dinan, are the remains of a 1st-century Roman temple dedicated to the god of war, Mars. The temple was established in what was then the Gallo-Roman capital of the Coriosolites and was constructed in Tuscan style. All that currently remains of this ancient structure is the foundation and a portion of the tower. Informational plaques (in French) describe the history of the temple and its purpose. There are also see-through standups that allow you to see how the temple may have appeared during its heyday.
