About

The Doubleday Day was constructed in the early 1800s and was the home of Abner Doubleday, known as the inventor of baseball. The building was close to being demolished and was eventually restored to a near-original state.

It is now home of The Real McCoy at Ballston Spa taproom/brewery. A cozy spot where locals and travelers alike can enjoy a locally brewed beer while soaking in the history of the building.
