About

"The Messenger" is a colorful street mural created in downtown Vista by world-renowned spray-paint artist Chor Boogie (Jason Hailey), who grew up in the area. The mural features a hummingbird and an ever-seeing eye, bringing spiritual meaning and bright life to the city's streets.

In spiritual symbolism, a messenger usually refers to a guide or a bearer of good news. The Hummingbird symbolizes healing, joy, and hope. It reminds people to enjoy the sweetness of life. The Ever-Seeing Eye represents spiritual awareness, protection, and inner truth.

Chor Boogie (Jason Hailey) is an internationally celebrated spray-paint artist. Because he grew up in the Vista and Oceanside area, painting "The Messenger" was a special homecoming for him. His style is famous for bright colors, flowing lines, and healing themes.  Three other murals created in Vista by Chor Boogie and be discovered and seen.
