About

This ambitious association run project was founded in 2021, in a now demolished previous amusement park and has since moved to its current location. Hundreds of Finnish and international artists have taken part in this exhibition, including big names such as 1UP, Bates, and CES.

When entering the premises, you are not in Vaasa anymore: Wasa Graffitilandia does not follow the logic of Vaasa which is a city that strives for a clean and upper middle class aesthetic. Wasa Graffitilandia is an ode for the underground and the underdogs. Here art doesn’t follow the placing of a black box but rather bursts wildly onto walls and floors.

The place also hosts an open wall (wall of fame) and sells spray cans. If you are a graffiti artist, you may be interested in contacting them as they also run a residency program for graffiti artists. Meeting of Styles Finland has been organized in Wasa Graffitilandia yearly since 2023.
