About
In a small town in northwest Ohio, stands a colossal Campbell's Tomato Soup can painted on a water tower within the Campbell’s factory. The tower measures 33 feet wide and 33 feet tall, and holds roughly 200,000 gallons. The iconic water tower was installed in 1989 during one of three additions to the growing company. While the vessel solely holds a water reserve for the facility’s sprinkler system, the company has jokingly stated that 2,178,645 cans of tomato soup could also fill the tank.
According to the World Record Academy, this structure holds the record for the World's Largest Tomato Soup Can Sculpture. This larger than life testament of soup is located on off of Route 110, and visible from the road. For security purposes, it is located behind a fence, about a quarter mile from the main entrance.
Campbell's Soup Company, now known as Campbell's, is an American food production company, best known for soup products. Over the years, it has grown through strategic acquisitions and mergers to become one of the largest food companies in America. The company headquarters can be found in Camden, New Jersey. The Napoleon, Ohio location is one of three factories in the United States that still cans a variety of soup products.
