I'm a writer and a teacher. I specialize in bringing women's history and feminism from the academy into the classroom. That means I work with professors and researchers to make their work accessible to students and teachers across the world. Currently, I'm finishing my first book, Yet, She Stands: A New History of Women and Power, where I take a storytelling approach to explore the ways major events from the fall of Rome to the French Revolution changed the ways women could negotiate power. I am collaborating with teams of academics to create Women's Worlds Global History, a free collection of resources for teaching global history. I am expecting a baby in July 2026 so I am doing all this around an bigger and bigger belly and less and less spare energy.
