I am Mitindra Konjengbam, and if my life had a soundtrack, it would be the sound of a laughing river mixed with the triumphant theme from an adventure movie! I don't just find adventures; I tend to stumble into them, usually because I'm following the call of a rare bird or the tracks of a suspiciously polite jungle cat. My kitchen is my base camp, where I whip up spicy expeditions for my hungry crew, and my stories aren't just told—they're full-scale reenactments where my eyebrows do the dramatic climbing of mountains and my hands mimic the flapping wings of the eagle I befriended last Tuesday. I believe every animal is a potential friend waiting for a snack and a chat, and I’ve convinced more than one skeptical squirrel to share my lunch. For me, life is the greatest safari of all, and I’m its jolliest guide, always ready to trade a funny story for a new trail to explore or a furry, feathery, or scaly new companion
