Alexis Wood

Joined Atlas Obscura in 2020

I’m drawn to the strange little corners of everyday life: the forgotten payphone, the roadside relic, the local legend everyone swears is true. I like stories with a little dust on them, places that feel like they’re keeping a secret, and objects that somehow outlive their original purpose. Basically, if it’s weird, wistful, possibly haunted, or there’s even a whisper of Bigfoot nearby, I’m probably already taking notes.
