I specialize in visiting places most people would rather avoid. Over the past 25 years, I've descended into the fiery Darvaza Gas Crater, explored the otherworldly Crystal Cave of Naica, rappelled into active volcanoes, chased tornadoes, and ventured to some of the planet's most remarkable and remote destinations. As a National Geographic Explorer, television host, and Explorer-in-Residence for the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, I believe every hidden corner of the world has a story worth telling.
