I am an environmental scientist, writer, and Explorers Club member drawn to unusual landscapes and the wonderous phenomenon of life, as well as the stories hidden within them. My work has included water and agricultural projects in Tanzania, fog-harvesting research in Iceland, ecological fieldwork in the mountains of Andorra and canyons of Montenegro, and water-conservation work across Florida. I explore how water shapes ecosystems, communities, and human survival as well as how people adapt when familiar solutions are no longer enough. I believe every expedition should produce more than photographs: it should leave behind knowledge, context, a story worth sharing, and if we are so lucky... the chance to gain wisdom from new perspectives.
