A journalist based on Ohlone land in the San Francisco Bay Area, my writing has been published in The Washington Post, Yahoo, New York Times, and more. My most recent book, "Girl Warriors," came out in 2021 with Chicago Review Press. I'm also 2022 Kiplinger Fellow in the Public Affairs Journalism’s class in Climate Change Reporting at Scripps.
