Joined Atlas Obscura in 2018

I'm a green tea addict and hiking enthusiast. A Cincinnatian by birth, I moved to Detroit after I got my Master’s degree and proceeded to drink all of the coffee and eat all of the cherries that I could find. Since I graduated from high school, I've studied, conducted research, and worked all over the Middle East. In total, I lived in Cairo, Jerusalem, and Amman a combined total of 3 years.
