Joined Atlas Obscura in 2019

I am a fortysomething who lives in the east of England. Travelled to over 60 countries including many random places. Examples include Chernobyl, Wolf's Lair in Poland, Exploring urban decay in Cairo, Illinois and Flint, Michigan and exploring Australia's Northern Territory. Interests include brutalist architecture, skyscrapers and anything really old. My website at rw-1.com includes a travel section documenting some of my global wanderings, from the famous, to not-so-famous places visited to date.
