About

Only a 20-minute drive from Nadi on the Fijian island of Viti Levu, the Garden of the Sleeping Giant is a hidden treasure tucked into a valley off the main road. Containing over 2,000 different types of orchids, this park has several self-guided trails throughout the complex that showcase a pavilion with swings, a small waterfall, and gorgeous flowers and trees.

Peak flowering seasons take place from June to July and November to December, but flowers are in bloom year-round at this garden. Additionally, there is a trail that will take you to the summit of the nearby mountain, offering a wonderful view of the surrounding valley and the western edge of the island.

Originally owned and developed by Raymond Burr (a.k.a. Perry Mason) and featuring orchids.
