Secret Pizza

At the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, those who can tear themselves away from the slots can sip cocktails at a bar inside a giant chandelier or eat at one of a number of celebrity-chef restaurants. But those with lighter pockets or less extravagant tastes might want to seek out Secret Pizza, a slice shop at the end of a record-lined corridor, far away from the bustle of the casino floor.

Secret Pizza is not exactly a secret, per se. While there's no sign and its location is not marked on the Cosmopolitan map, there's often a line of visitors waiting for slices of New York-style thin-crust pizza. The small tile-lined shop has a few tables and chairs, a handful of pinball machines, and a counter where customers order slices or whole pies.

Secret Pizza does not offer fancy ingredients or exotic sauce options for its pies. There's white or red sauce, and toppings like pepperoni, green peppers, or olives. There's beer, wine, and soda for sale too. The only thing different from your humble neighborhood pizza parlor would be the prices: A slice of cheese pizza starts at $6.50.
