About
Built around 1667, the Daniels House is one of the oldest standing mansions in Salem, nationally recognized for its historic and architectural significance. Predating the infamous Witch Trials, it still bears original details like a nine-foot fireplace and protective hex marks carved into the woodwork.
Unlike a typical house museum, the Daniels House remains a private residence. Visitors can explore its antiques-filled rooms with a historically inspired tea in hand, sitting among centuries-old furnishings in a space that feels more like stepping into someone’s home than a curated exhibit.
Today, the Daniels House operates as an inn.
