Joined Atlas Obscura in 2015

I'm a software developer at Atlas Obscura. My first Atlas Obscura experience was coming face to face with the skeleton of man who died of gigantism, which is housed in a glass coffin in an otherwise unassuming stairwell of the Yale Medical Library, leading down to the Cushing Brain Collection. I heartily recommend you do the same. Next time you pass through New Haven, make your way to the library and politely ask to view the collection. They'll swipe you in!
