Victorian "Fancy Craft" Hair Wreaths and Relics.

The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum is dedicated to the history of the  southwest and more specifically Colorado Springs. The building used to be a court house. The museum has a small, but excellent, collection of Victorian “fancy craft” hair wreaths and historical relics such as the alleged first jawbone ever used to identify a murder victim by her dental records. The wreaths are incredibly elaborate and it’s not immediately obvious that they’re made of actual human hair.

Update: As of January 5, 2019, the hair art is not on exhibition and they don’t know when they will put it up again.
