Natalie Lynn Lichtenbert, MSc, is an American conservationist, wildlife show host, expedition leader, wildlife filmmaker, sustainability strategist, and Fellow of The Explorers Club. Her work follows the places where biodiversity is under the greatest pressure—and where hope for its recovery still exists. She documents endangered wildlife, marine ecosystems, and conservation efforts around the world, from whale sharks in Mexico's Sea of Cortez to coral reefs in the Maldives and the forests, wetlands, and coastlines of North America.
Originally trained as a laboratory scientist, Natalie spent more than 30 years in science before turning her focus toward conservation and biodiversity, earning a master's degree in Conservation Leadership. She is the founder of Green Dolphin Project Global, where she combines documentary filmmaking, environmental education, expedition leadership, and emerging technology to inspire action against biodiversity loss and wildlife trafficking.
As a wildlife show host, filmmaker and storyteller, Natalie bridges science, exploration, and conservation, helping audiences see the connections between nature, business, and the choices people make every day. Whether leading expeditions into the field or sharing stories through film and digital media, her goal is to inspire a deeper appreciation for the natural world and empower others to become part of its protection. Based in Illinois, she is usually planning her next expedition, filming wildlife before sunrise, or searching for stories that remind people why our planet's biodiversity is worth protecting.
