Joined Atlas Obscura in 2022

U.S. Navy veteran of a family of navy veterans. Currently, I reside in San Diego, California, working in the software development field. My interests tend toward the unusual, such as, myrmecology and insectivorous plants. My curiosity is such that I might delve deep into one interesting pursuit until I know more than the average person and then move on to another. I’m usually reading multiple books at any given time based on mood. A great intellectual conversation over a micro brew brings joy.
