Joined Atlas Obscura in 2017

I am an aspiring writer, history enthusiast, and lover of the arcane and fortean from Anniston, Alabama, USA. Once I was stung by the travel bug, I was hooked and so I've travelled to many places since, seeking adventures and local experiences off the beaten path. Some of the countries I've visited include Uruguay, Turkey, Greece, Albania, Germany, Spain, Portugal and South Africa. A love for adventure and an eccentric nature have brought me to Atlas Obscura, and I look forward to it opening up more possibilities of life discoveries. If you like my photos and research at Atlas Obscura places that I've been, and want to aid future travels, any help is appreciated: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/sjobst1985
