Touristish

Joined Atlas Obscura in 2026

I'm the traveler behind Touristish, an independent travel blog devoted to unique places to stay, unusual things to do, and experiences worth going out of your way for. I'm happiest exploring places that are a little weird, wonderfully unexpected, or overlooked by the typical tourist itinerary. I've trekked through remote villages in Peru and Thailand, slept in the Moroccan Sahara, explored hidden corners of Greece, and gone out of my way for some pretty unusual accommodations. I'm a heavy researcher, an enthusiastic adventurer, and a firm believer that the best travel stories usually happen when you wander off the beaten path. Less touristy. More Touristish. https://touristish.com
