During a 5,500-mile road trip in our RV, my family had the opportunity to pick-up and "move" from 10 states spanning between CO to FL and back, over a month period. It was the longest vacation we have ever taken and such an amazing way to see the Midwest, East Coast, and Southern states.

We spent a significant amount of time in Maryland visiting family and took advantage of the proximity to D.C. to see all the historical monuments, which was relevant to what my kids recently studied in history class. Other highlights included watching the Fourth of July fireworks over the Potomac River. This is by far the best show we have seen, featuring boats and landmarks in the background, and the reflection over the water was unbeatable.

We also visited the International Spy Museum, where pretending to go undercover kept the kids engaged for hours. Another Atlas highlight was seeing the sunset at the Southernmost point of the Continental US in Key West.

Looking forward to the next journey where the road takes us West and North and we collect more state fridge magnets.
