About

If you want a unique bird and crow experience then this is a must.

In Vancouver all crows in what we call the Lower Mainland which extends far beyond Vancouver come to roost in the same five block section. This is along the Still Creek Drive between Willingdon Avenue and Gilmour Avenue.

The crows will leave at dawn and return at dusk in a massive migration that is loud and obvious. One of the best places to view this is the McDonald’s on Willingdon Avenue, as it has second floor wide open windows that view onto Still Creek Drive.

Near dawn, go out and walk amongst this massive crow nesting site.

They sometimes cover the road like a feathered black tarp...until one of those annoying cars gets in the way.

Be aware, if you agitate them, they will remember you. Crows have an amazing ability to remember faces and if they learn you are not friendly, they will run away and spread the news to their family.
