Joined Atlas Obscura in 2010

Allison is a former Senior Editor at Atlas Obscura, and their ongoing cemetery tour guide and aficionado. She works as a writer on art and overlooked history, and is an avid cemetery explorer. Originally from an Oklahoma oil town, she's now based in Brooklyn after living for a time in France. She likes monumental art installations of ephemeral beauty and minuscule cemeteries hidden in the city sprawl.
