From my childhood days, I have wanted to know what was beyond the horizon. After twenty-two and a half years in the US Navy and fifty-plus years traveling the globe since retiring I have managed to see many Lands, which I could have only dreamed about as a child. Meeting people along the way and trying to understand their culture has been an extra benefit. To this day I still have friends I made fifty + years ago in distant countries. Travel broadens one's mind and outlook on life. One must take the first step.
