Tricia Allens Pacific Art

Joined Atlas Obscura in 2024

I reside on Windward O’ahu in Hawai’i and am PT faculty at the University of Hawai’i in Pacific and Hawaiian Studies. Since completing my graduate degree I’ve traveled extensively through the Pacific and have cumulatively spent 37 months on the Islands of Tahiti, 17 months in the Marquesas Islands, 5 months on Rapa Nui (Easter Island) and have visited more islands than I can count. Most recently I’ve been lecturing on board cruise ships, visiting dear friends in the Society Islands, Raraonga, Samoa, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.
