Stores in Berkeley

A turqoise shack off the side of the road housing "100,000 things you don't need," as their sign out front says; it's filled to the brim with an expansive collection of costume jewelry, activist pins, old postcards, expensive collector's paintings, and so, so much more.

From buttons to beads, flounces to fripperies, this textile museum and shop honors the history of needlework.
