I'm a molecular biologist and biochemist focused on the adaptation and acclimation of organisms to extreme and changing environments. My career spans basic and applied science, for the last 25 years through my GAC Research Institute, to the business of science having created, funded, and sold multiple biotechnology businesses. I plan and lead in the field scientific expeditions including my most recent cNAMMs expedition that is currently conducting a marine microbe survey in the waters surrounding continental North America.
